COMMUNITY

Challenging limitation goes beyond simply pushing one's individual boundaries. At Access Unlimited we explore how this mindset can positively impact friends, family, and community. Each trip recipient has the opportunity to pay it forward, inspiring others to overcome barriers, promote optimism, and pursue a life well-lived.

ATHLETE STORIES

FEATURED VIDEO

Sandy, Benjamin, Mason, Connor and Reed talk briefly about their experiences at Craig Hospital and about how much Access Unlimited means to them.

SANDY MIRANDA

Sandy found hope and gratitude through both Craig Hospital and Access Unlimited. She is grateful for the friendships, the meaningful conversations and the fishing she gets to do all thanks to Access Unlimited.

REED ROBERTSON

For Reed, the opportunities provided by Access Unlimited is what makes the program special. If you ask him, the coolest part of the trip was the helicopter ride.

BENJAMIN PEXTON

Benjamin has learned to overcome his injury. He realized that not all is lost in the face of adversity, it's just different.

CONNOR SCHRAPPS

Driving RZRs is pretty awesome, but to Connor, the community built with the help of Access Unlimited is priceless.

MASON MATTHEWS

Montana is Mason's home, and he was more than excited to get back out and experience the great outdoors again.

FIVES FISH CAMP

We always look forward to having our friends at High Fives join us in big sky country. Life doesn't get much better than catching fish, ripping RZRs, and testing our aim in some of the most majestic scenery this world has to offer. The Fives Fish Camp is truly a celebration of lives well lived.

AARON BAKER

After experiencing a devastating motocross accident that left him paralyzed, Aaron Baker has become an inspiration to others through profound fortitude, hope, and gratitude. Aaron recounts his powerful story, and how the Access Unlimited experience has aligned with his approach to a life well-lived. Aaron's journey is one that aims to change the way one perceives challenges to embrace why things happen the way they do.

AUSTIN ESPELIN

For Austin Espelin, the river is a place for healing in all ways, a perfect setting for transformation, both physically and mentally. He and his father reflect on his experience as a traumatic brain injury survivor, and how a day on the water proved to be a major statement in a family's pursuit of continual improvement.

KELLI JOHNSON

A car accident and resulting traumatic brain injury could not stop Kelli Johnson from returning to life. She is an impressive example of how far a person can come in the healing process, evolving from surviving to thriving. Kelli tells her story and how her adventure with Access Unlimited helped to unlock further possibilities and a community built on the camaraderie of shared experiences.

MATT LEONARD

Sometimes moving forward through a life-altering injury is as simple as"yes." This simple word proved to be the catalyst for a tremendous Access Unlimited experience. Matt's message of perseverance and vigor for life is truly one that everyone should hear.

REGAN LINTON

For Regan, relaxing and having fun are some of the most important things a person can do. With Access Unlimited, she is able to experience both while participating in activities that are both outdoorsy and accessible.

ACCESS UNLIMITED/FIVES FISH 2019

Craig and Access Unlimited partners up with High Fives to give the AU athletes an unforgettable experience.

CHALLENGE LIMITATION

Challenge limitation: a short but powerful phrase. Adam Yinger, Steve Miller, Jesse Alberi, Regan Linton and Aaron Baker discuss the significance and experiences Access Unlimited brings.

2017 FIVES FISH ADAPTIVE CAMP

From trap shooting to helicopter tours, Fives Fish offers adaptive athletes more than a fishing trip. They offer the ultimate Montana experience.

INTRODUCING ACCESS UNLIMITED

Access Unlimited is an organization that provides adaptive outdoor adventures for people with disabilities. We also hate the word "disability" and take every opportunity to challenge "limitation" and demonstrate that every "disability" can be overcome.
